Question by helpneeded: Are Reef Sandals with bottle openers in the bottom allowed through Airport Security??
I have Reef sandals with a small piece of metal which is intended to be a bottle opener. Anyone know if I will be able to wear these through security and onto the plane? By the way, I’m not a terrorist– just a curious traveler who doesn’t want to pack a pair of shoes just to get through airport security. THANKS

You have to remove your shoes and put them through X-ray anyway. I think it would depend on how sharp the can opener part is if they let them through.
